We support our members and their families through scholarships, advocacy, and essential resources.
The number of scholarships awarded depends on the annual budget, but in past years, the program has provided over $72,000 in scholarships. This initiative underscores the Association's commitment to supporting the education goals of its members' families.
Many aspects of the scholarship application process remain consistent from year to year; however, specific questions and scenarios may vary. The applications are evaluated by a retired teacher, and scores are determined using a custom rubric. This process ensures fairness and consistency while adapting to changing criteria or priorities each year.

The West Virginia Troopers Association actively sponsors and supports public safety legislation and advocates for causes that benefit its members by lobbying the West Virginia Legislature and state government.
